Certes Lodge No. 4606

Certes Lodge 4606 Banner SmallCertes Lodge No. 4606 is a Lodge of Freemasons which meets at Freemason’s Hall.

It is the Mother Lodge of Semper Amicus Lodge No. 8237 and was consecrated on the 25th January 1924.

Certes Lodge is a founder Member of the Metropolitan Grand Lodge under the jurisdiction on the United Grand Lodge of England and is recognised as a Hallstone Lodge for the donation it made towards the buidling of Freemasons Hall.  All Hallstone Lodges have their names inscribed on the wall of the vestibule leading to the Grand Temple at Freemasons Hall.

In 1925, the Lodge was presented with a jewel by the then Most Worshipful Grand Master, The Duke of Connaught, which is proudly worn by the Master of Certes Lodge at every meeting he attends in his year of office.

Certes Lodge meets four times a year – February (Installation), April, September and November
